Terraria
Terraria is a very well-known 2D sandbox game playable on PC that exists since 2011, but it's still a masterpiece. By April 2020, the game had sold over 30 million copies! Sandbox games give players a great degree of creativity to complete tasks towards goals. Terraria has many different areas to discover with each their enemies and challenges and the game has a lot in common with the playstyle of Minecraft.
Players get started with only a few basic tools. You have to explore caves and find resources such as metal ores. Begin with very low health and mana (the power to use special magical abilities) which increases by finding certain items.
Many different enemies in the game will also drop items and they make the game a lot more adventurous! When players defeat a boss or complete other specific goals they can attract non-player characters (NPCs) such as a nurse, wizard, or merchant. They occupy structures or rooms they have built. Some of them also need to get rescued and will go with you after your help!
You have to craft your items and equipment at an appropriate crafting station for that recipe. To smelt bars you need a furnace, to craft armor you need an anvil and the workbench lets you craft other items such as tables.
Spyro Reignited Trilogy
This is a fantastic 3D platform video game for both PlayStation and PC. It got released in 2018 and it is a remaster of the first three games in the Spyro series: Sypro the Dragon (1998), Ripto’s Rage! (1999) and Year of the Dragon (2000). The newest version has everything combined and its performance and look are great. Very colorful with a chill atmosphere.
Spyro is a young purple dragon. He attempts to restore peace in a set of worlds by getting rid of all the enemies. His little friend Sparx is a dragonfly that helps him everywhere he goes. He acts as his health and defends him against enemy attacks.
To make progress, Spyro has to collect things such as gems and dragon eggs. The gems also act as currency. What’s cool about this new Spyro game is that non-playable characters have more varied personalities and distinct. You can listen to new soundtracks but there’s also the option to switch back to the original recordings. It’s fun that new soundtracks adjust to Spyro’s movement.
Minecraft Dungeons
Talking about creativity, Minecraft Dungeons is a spin-off of the creative sandbox video game Minecraft. It's playable on Nintendo, PlayStation, PC and Xbox. Minecraft doesn't have an open world that Minecraft has. You can't build or mine. In this dungeon crawler, you explore procedurally generated and hand-crafted dungeons filled with randomly-generated monsters. There will be lots of traps, puzzles, and bosses to deal with!
This version of Minecraft is very exciting. There are treasures for you waiting to be picked up and you can use every weapon you wish to use. You can play locally with 4 players and go online in multiplayer. As we know from Minecraft, there are mainly blocks that represent various materials. Minecraft dungeons have a linear story-driven campaign and show cutscenes.

Marvel’s Spider-Man
An action-adventure game for PlayStation that's very fun and exciting is Marvel's Spider-Man. Who doesn't want to be a superhero that has superpowers like strength, agility, the ability to cling to almost every surface and shoot spider-webs to move around very fast?
With his webs, he can also defend himself in combat by concussive blasts, electric webbing, and impact webbing to launch enemies backward. Stick them to a nearby surface and unlock lots of gadgets and suits! Other suits give you new abilities and you can level up to unlock new skills for different kinds of combat.

Sea of Thieves
Always wanted to know how it is to be a pirate? Sea of Thieves is a beautiful action-adventure game where you can explore the seas, islands and encounter other pirates (players) in an open world. You can choose if you want to sail the seas with a small or a huge ship. The bigger the ship, the harder it is to handle it.
When there's a huge storm, water gets inside. Use your bucket to get this out, repair holes, defend your treasure against other pirates that want to steal it by shooting cannonballs at them. Don't forget to hoist and raise your sail on the journey! When you are with a team, you have to work together. People hoisting the sails and the captain taking care of the rudder.
You can also dive underwater, do quests and earn money to upgrade your ship, buy new clothes or pets, and much more. Imagine sailing on the seas whilst the sun goes down. This is a beautiful picture that's worth enjoying with some music. A cool aspect is that the water moves very realistic too.

Experience playing a free Battle Royale in a very friendly, cartoony, and non-violent atmosphere! With a Battle Royale, you play on a very big map that gets smaller over time. There's a circle called the Safe Zone that gets closer and forces players to encounter each other. The last one standing wins the first position.
Fortnite came out in 2017 and although its popularity is decreasing with popular content creators leaving the game, it's still amazingly popular and played worldwide. It’s very suitable for kids.
When the game starts you’re in a virtual flying bus with 100 people. This bus flies in a straight line and its direction changes every time. It’s up to players where they land. Do you want to go for an early or a late drop?
Once you’ve landed you have to gather loot like weapons and healing stuff to survive. Stay alive during the storm that makes the map smaller and you have to get rid of the other 99 people. How? By shooting them down. It’s a cartoony game that looks unrealistic with no blood at all.
But here it comes. You can also build in this game. This building is meant as a defense against enemies shooting at you. Build a wall, stairs, or a house to hide in. Be aware that the storm damages your creations.
Team Sonic Racing
